Scout is a 12-month-old, red and white, purebred, Shih Tzu looking for his new home! He has been well-cared for prior to coming to us.
Scout has lived with other dogs and enjoys their company. However, he would be great as an only dog as well or with a submissive dog. Scout is pretty gregarious once he settles in.
Scout is still a puppy, so he will need someone who is ready to buy him toys and play with him. He seems very calm indoors and loves to follow you around. However, he will pick up things to play with if you leave them around on the floor.
Scout isn’t fond of the crate at this point, so we are looking for someone retired or who can take him to work and everywhere with him. We are looking for a home for Scout with a house with a secure fenced yard for him as well.
Scout has not lived with children prior to coming to us, so a home with adults only would suit him best. He is on the larger size at 15 lbs.
