Sadie is a 3-year-old, German Shepherd Dog, with a heart of gold. She came from a loving home because her previous owner felt that his work was getting in the way of the life she deserves as she was often left in his apartment alone for up for 12-14 hours at a time.
Sadie was raised around a lot of people and other dogs so she is quick to adapt to everyone around her and loves to play, hike and fetch. She would be best suited around another playful German Shepherd to keep her company or as an only dog for an adopter who will be as active as she is.
When her previous owner had time, Sadie spent time hiking on his parents' hundred acre farm. She never went far from her previous owner, always kept an eye on him and came immediately when he called her.
Sadie is currently staying in Seattle with her two foster siblings who are both German Shepherds and loves chasing them and being chased around the backyard. She has great house manners and is both potty and crate-trained. Sadie has been raised by a single adult so we are looking for an adult only home for Sadie.
