Meet Jake! Jake has had a rough start in life and was received with a German Shepherd Dog that we also rescued. We couldn’t say no to this little ball of cuteness, so we are doing everything we can to find this little guy a forever home.
Although Jake is not a German Shepherd, we are hoping someone out there is able to foster this boy until he finds his forever home.
Jake is an 8-year-old Rat Terrier who has lived with cats, kittens, large and small dogs. He loves the dog park and loves riding in the car. Jake is only 12 lbs. He is very fit and muscular too. So, even someone who likes to hike or jog would be ideal for him.
Jake is crate-trained and very smart. He wants to please and loves praise and treats. We are unsure as to his background, but we believe there was some type of abuse in his past, so a kind patient person is best. Jake has not lived with children, so a single or adult couple is needed, please.
