Bella is an 11-month-old, purebred, female, German Shepherd Dog who is available for adoption. She has come through a very long journey since she arrived in our care.
At 8 weeks old, Bella was hit by a car and surrendered to our rescue. What followed has been 10 months of hard work and dedication by her foster parents, caregivers and volunteers. Bella has had extensive medical and rehabilitation at Blue Pearl. She had an MRI and, most recently, full body X-rays to ensure nothing is hindering her from reaching her goal to be 100% mobile on her own.
Fortunately, Bella has never met a person she didn’t love. She is incredibly friendly and loving. Bella loves to greet visitors at her foster home and at the park or on walks. She also loves other dogs she meets, so a home with other male dogs or no other dogs would suit her well. Bella also loves car rides.
Bella is at the point where she can stand on all four legs and is upright on all four legs for walking for short periods (as seen in the videos). She will need a dedicated home to continue with her down this path. Bella will provide her new home with tons of love and kisses and devotion. It is the right time to find that perfect home for her.
