Athena is a 16 week old female German Shepherd looking for her forever home. She is being spoiled by her amazing foster home.
From her foster home: Athena automatically sits at doors and gates without being asked. Cues she knows: Sit, down, off, wait, leave it, touch, shake, spin Her recall is amazing - we use, “Athena, here!” She walks perfectly on leash with her easy-walk harness She is potty trained (8 hours overnight, 4-5 hours during the day)
She is VERY food motivated. She is SUPER SMART, learns extremely quickly, and loves food puzzles, frozen kongs, licky mats, etc. We try to change the puzzle up with each meal, but she always get a frozen kong to have some crate time during breakfast and dinner. We have been making sure to reinforce all positive behaviors. She can definitely live with other dogs as she is living with a Golden Retriever.
She can live with cats as she is living with 3 cats. However, she wants to play with them, so it definitely needs to be a confident cat who enjoys dogs.
As she is a puppy, she is high energy so a household with another high energy is best.
