When you first meet Angel, you cannot believe a dog could be as gentle and sweet as she is. But she really is. She wants nothing more than to lay her head in your lap while you watch TV. She wants to cuddle and be pet. All she asks for is a scratch behind her ears and lots and lots of cuddles with your arms around her majestic soft fluffiness.
She has met other dogs and has adored everyone she has met. She has also been around dogs as small as 3 lbs and is incredibly gentle.
Angel arrived in our care with the inability to put weight on her back left leg. X-rays at Veterinary Speciality Center of Seattle determined she had most likely been hit by a car at some point and wasn’t provided any medical treatment for the fractures. Angel was in pain simply just walking.
Fortunately, we were able to schedule FHO and her spay surgery within a week of her arrival into our care. It has been a week and she is recovering well. She doesn’t need any assistance walking and is already using her back left leg. We would love to find an amazing foster or foster to adopt home who will continue her rehab.
Angel weighs 88 lbs and is 18 months of age.
