Remus is an absolutely stunning, 22-month-old, black sable, long-coated, German Shepherd Dog who is looking for his forever home. And when we say stunning, we mean absolutely gorgeous!
Remus is incredibly sweet and affectionate. He loves everyone he has met. Remus was adopted by his foster family; they love him dearly, but are no longer able to keep him because their other German Shepherd is very ill.
Remus gets along well with his foster sister and loves to play. He has perfect house manners and is crate-trained, but is not the type of dog to be left for extended periods in a crate. Remus is the type of dog who wants to constantly be by your side and snuggle. He loves to cozy up with you at night and sleep in your bed. Remus enjoys being a companion and loves to go in the car on trips and adventures.
Remus is a very happy, high energy, dog and is used to getting a lot of attention and a lot of exercise. He gets two long walks a day, usually 2-3 miles each. Remus loves to play Chuck-it or go for a swim or hike.
Remus has worked very hard on his obedience and really likes structure. He has a strong command of basic obedience. Remus is great on the leash and with extended sit and stay commands and recall. He is currently working on off-lead training and has very good focus.
