We are looking for someone within King County or Snohomish County who is able to foster Oakley while she recovers from a broken leg (after surgery).
Oakley has a complex, mid-shaft, tibial fracture of her left rear leg. With a fracture repair, she is expected to return to full function.
When we received an email from her previous owner, a volunteer quickly drove to pick up Oakley and checked her into Blue Pearl at 11:30 pm last night. Oakley is at Blue Pearl, still, while we await a consult for surgery. We will need a place to move her to once surgery has been done.
Oakley was raised with cats, rabbits, dogs and older children. Despite the pain she has been in, she is still super friendly and sweet.
