One of our volunteers came across this senior online. This older GSD was located at one of the high kill shelters in California. He was slated for euthanasia. Why? Because he is 9 years old. These shelters are over flowing with dogs, and seniors never have a chance.
We were able to find someone to pull him from the shelter in time and take him right away to a veterinarian.
We are looking for a foster home for this senior GSD when he arrives into rescue next weekend!
If you have the space for a well deserving senior, please let us know! We would love to gather some high quality food for this boy and some joint supplements for when he arrives! If you are able to send a bag of food, please let us know!
