Lucy is a 4-year-old, AKC, female, German Shepherd Dog that has just arrived in rescue. Both of her parents are already placed with two of our adopters. They are shown in some of the photos with Lucy taken within the last week in Seattle.
Lucy has gone through extensive obedience training in her previous home. She attended dog day care several times a week as well and enjoys running around with other dogs at the park.
Lucy's previous owners were an older retired couple who provided Lucy with lots of love and attention and excellent care. She has done really well with social activities. Lucy spent Saturday at the dog park in downtown Seattle and at a pub in Seattle during the March Madness excitement, greeting people as they passed through the neighborhood, bar hopping.
Lucy is crate-trained, but is left loose in the home when her foster mom is at work. She has excellent house manners and is trustworthy, unattended, in the home and car. Lucy also loves going for rides in the car. She has excellent car manners, when you run errands, and leave her in the car, temporarily. She sits in the front passenger seat waiting for you.
Lucy has been around small dogs and cats. Lucy was raised in a home with an older adult couple and has not lived with children.
Lucy is approximately 112 lbs. Lucy’s father is 95 lbs and her mother is 72 lbs.

YOU WILL HEAR FROM US ONLY IF WE FIND YOU TO BE A GOOD MATCH FOR ONE OF OUR RESCUE ANIMALS AND OUR ADOPTION GUIDELINES/PROGRAM. WE MUST REVIEW A COMPLETED APPLICATION BEFORE A POSSIBLE APPOINTMENT IS ARRANGED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
All visits with the puppies/dogs are by approved applications and appointments only. *We reserve the right to refuse any adoption without justification and not all applications or inquiries may receive a response.*
