AVAILABLE: Hunter, the most adorable German Shepherd puppy you could imagine!!
Hunter is a German Shepherd puppy looking for his forever home. One may ask how this spectacular little boy could end up in Rescue? Well, his owner’s wife was severely allergic to him. Fortunately for Hunter, his previous owners were caring and responsible and reached out to us to find him the perfect home.
Hunter is super playful, and loves running around with his foster sibling GSDs. When he's not chasing around a ball or playing tug-of-war, he loves to snuggle and sleep in the laps of his foster parents. He's got a great appetite and is very food motivated, which will be great for teaching him obedience and commands. He's doing well with his potty training but still has a little ways to go. He is crate trained, and sleeps in his crate without issues at night.
Now onto what we are looking for as far as his forever home.
We are looking for an applicant who is in a house with a secure fenced yard. We are also looking for an applicant who has owned a large breed dog, such as a German Shepherd, and has taken that dog to obedience classes.
When we mention owning a large breed dog or German Shepherd, we are referring to owning a dog as an adult, not growing up with a German Shepherd. Preference is also given to applicants with other playful large breed dogs for continued socialization. Also, please note we require puppy classes and basic obedience training. When you apply, please include where you would be take Hunter for his training.
